Weather permitting, August 26, Route K is scheduled to close, over Black Creek, 1.1 miles west of Missouri Route 15 near Shelbyville in Shelby County, as work begins on a bridge replacement project.
MoDOT awarded the contract to Emery Sapp and Sons this spring in the amount of $946, 442.
Anticipated completion of the new bridge is scheduled for late Fall.
