Moberly Police Department News Release
The following incidents/arrests were investigated by the Moberly Police Department on 08/15/2024.
On August 15, 2024, Moberly Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Bond St in reference a man brandishing a firearm during an altercation.
Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, and a pursuit ensued. After a short pursuit the vehicle came to a stop.
The 46-year-old female operator was placed under arrest for resisting arrest by fleeing.
A 36-year-old male passenger was placed under arrest for unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Both subjects were transported to the Randolph County jail. The investigation is ongoing.
