The Mexico High School Football team will take part in their first Jamboree in Monroe City on Friday, August 23, 2024.
Mexico football head coach Steve Haag says they will compete against three teams.
The jamboree will be held at the Monroe City High School with a 6pm kickoff.
The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 3-0 in the series finale at Busch Stadium on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
Cardinals pitching allowed the Brewers just three hits in the game.
Redbirds closer Ryan Helsley picked up his 39th save of the season.
St. Louis took two out of three games from Milwaukee and won the series.
The Kansas City Chiefs lost 34-21 to the Chicago Bears in NFL preseason finale on Thursday, August 22,2024.
Both teams sat nearly all their starters.
The Chiefs went 0-4 in the preseason.
Shortly before kickoff, the Chiefs agreed with Creed Humphrey on a four-year $72 million extension.
The contract includes $50 million guaranteed according to an anonymous source making it the richest contract for a center in NFL history.
