Arrests:
Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 45-year-old Jamica N. Johnson on a St. Louis County warrant on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
43-year-old Michael D. Halling was arrested for Second and Third Degree Assault, Resisting Arrest and Unlawful Use of a Weapon on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Thursday, August 22, 2024:
- Suspicious person on Carrico.
- Property damage at Green Estate Park and on Carrico and at West Liberty/Alabama.
- Stealing or theft on Elm Tree Drive.
- Trespassing at 3001 South Clark.
- Scam on Breckenridge.
- Unwanted subject at South Alabama.
Car accidents:
No injuries reported following a vehicle accident in Mexico on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a 2020 Peterbilt 389 driven by 72-year-old Roland Madison of Bethany, Missouri was traveling eastbound in the 600 block of East Jackson and began to turn southbound into a parking lot.
The trailer struck a street sign and light pole.
The light pole was broken off at the base.
The street sign was bent and the right middle rear tire and rim of the truck were damaged.
