Arrests:

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 23-year-old Joshua C. Kennemore for a Mexico warrant on Friday, September 6, 2024.

29-year-old Steven A. Bryant was arrested for Fourth Degree Domestic Assault and a Violation of a Protection Order on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

29-year-old Nickolaus S. Robinson was arrested for an Audrain County warrant and two Camden County warrants on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Calls for service:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, September 6, 2024:

  • Trespassing on Summit.
  • Suspicious activity at North Mississippi/Moreland Drive.
  • Unwanted subject on West Buchanan.
  • Property damage at Lakeview Road.
  • Stealing or theft on West Monroe.
  • Suspicious activity at Fairground Road/Buchanan.
  • Natural gas odor on Woodlawn.

Public Safety went to the following calls for service on Saturday, September 7, 2024:

  • Suspicious person on East Breckenridge.
  • Property dispute at West Love.
  • Suspicious vehicle on West Pearson.
  • Property damage at North Agricultural.
  • Careless and imprudent driver on Highway 22.
  • Trespassing at West Monroe.
  • Harassment on Rock Springs Drive.
  • Shoplifting at 4820 South Clark.

Mexico Public Safety went to the following calls on Sunday, September 8, 2024:

  • Trespassing on West Street and at Hazel Place/Morris/West Street.
  • Stealing or theft on West Boulevard.
  • Domestic verbal incident at the Vance Road apartment building.
  • Threats at the West Love apartment building and on West Promenade and at Quantico Road.
  • Suspicious person on West Boulevard and at Fairground Road.
  • Property damage on West Breckenridge Drive.
  • Shoplifting at 4820 South Clark.

Car accidents:

No injuries reported following a two-car accident at 1003 Emmons on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Mary Rippeto of Mexico was driving east on Emmons and turned north on Singleton and struck a parked car belonging to 26-year-old Heaven Day of Mexico.
