The Mexico High School volleyball team beat North Callaway 3-1 on the road on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
Mexico improved their record to 2-0 and hosts the Marshall Lady Owls on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

The Mexico High School girls tennis team hosted the Hannibal Lady Pirates on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
Claire Hudson was victorious in her varsity singles match for Mexico.
And it was Claire Hudson and Lucy Gleeson picking up a varsity doubles victory for the Lady Bulldogs.
Hannibal is at the top of the North Central Missouri Conference.
Mexico and Hannibal will meet again at the conference and district tournament.

The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Cincinnati Reds 2-1 at Busch Stadium on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
Cardinals starting pitcher Lance Lynn struck out seven batters in five innings of work and reached 2,000 innings pitched in his career.
Nolan Arenado tied the game with a home run.
Paul Goldschmidt was the hero, delivering a game winning RBI with a double in the eighth inning.
St. Louis snapped a four-game losing streak to the rival Reds and go for a series win on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

The Kansas City Royals were edged out by the New York Yankees in a 4-3 loss at Yankee Stadium.
The Royals lost two out of three games to the American League East leading Yankees.
Kansas City is in possession of the second American League Wild Card spot, 1 1/2 games ahead of the Minnesota Twins with 15 games left in the regular season.
NFL Thursday Night Football will see the 1-0 Buffalo Bills against the 1-0 Miami Dolphins.
Kickoff is set for 7:15.
