Alexis Smythe Becomes First Mexico High School Graduate To Receive RootEd Alliance Undergraduate Scholarship

A Mexico High School graduate is the recipient of a rootEd Alliance Undergraduate Scholarship worth up to $12,000 per year.

Alexis Smythe from the Mexico High School Class of 2024 was awarded the scholarship that is renewable for up to five years, to support her pursuit of a bachelor’s degree.

Smythe is attending Columbia College and is seeking her nursing degree.

Each year rootEd awards 30 of these scholarships, exclusively available to students in high schools that partner with rootEd.
