The Mexico High School girls tennis team hosted North Point on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
It was senior night and Mexico celebrated their six seniors- Jylian Whitworth, Claire Hudson, Lucy Gleeson, Reiley Walker, Melanie Hernandez, and Abby Ryan.
Mexico came out on top of North Point by a final score of 5-4.
Mexico head coach Kim Costley said “We celebrated our seniors tonight and pulled out a close win.
We won all 3 varsity doubles matches for the first time this year.
It was a great match as many of the matches were very close.
Our season isn’t over, but we want to thank Jyllian Whitworth, Claire Hudson, Lucy Gleeson, Reiley Walker, Melanie Hernandez, and Abby Ryan for all the years of dedicated service to the tennis program.
They have been rock solid and have helped grow Mexico Lady Tennis.”
