Mexico Public Safety Department Report 10/9/2024
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
- Suspicious person at Kent Road/Curtis.
- Peace disturbance on Howell Manor Court.
- An odor reported at 4050 South Clark.
- Careless and imprudent driver at 620 South Clark and at 1719 South Clark.
- Stealing or theft at 3001 South Clark.
- Suspicious activity on Bouganville.
- Vehicle break-in on Emmons.
- Harassment at Lakeview Road.
- A scam reported at the South Clark apartment building.
- Domestic verbal incident on Garfield.
- Trash dumping at West Whitley.
- Suspicious vehicle on West Buchanan.
No injuries reported following a one-car accident on Summit near Agricultural on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Kelsay Hutcheson of Mexico was traveling north on Summit, navigating the curve, when the vehicle ran off the road and hit a sign.
Mexico Public Safety says the driver left the scene and has since been identified as Kelsay Hutcheson.
