The North Central Missouri Conference All-Conference Soccer Team has been announced on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
Mexico High School senior forward Gage Walker was named to the Second Team.
Junior Mark Mitchell of the Missouri men’s basketball team was recognized yesterday (Wednesday) as one of the nation’s top small forwards, earning a spot on the Julius Erving Award Watch List.
Mitchell is one of 20 players in the country to earn a spot on the exclusive watch list.
Mitchell enters his first season at Mizzou after starting 67 games at Duke the past two seasons.
Several reports have Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany in talks over bringing a WNBA team to Kansas City.
ESPN reports, the WNBA is in talks with Mahomes other current executives-regarding a new franchise in the city.
The 12-team league is set to expand over the coming years, with teams in San Francisco, Toronto and Portland set to join by 2026.
Patrick Mahomes is already part of the ownership group of the Royals, Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer and an investor in the Alpine Formula One team.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are this year’s World Series Champions after defeating the New York Yankees 7-6 last (Wednesday) night.
The Dodgers erased a five-run, fifth-inning deficit to claim the World Series in five games.
The Dodgers have won two World Series in the last five years.
