Mexico High School Boys And Girls Basketball Pick Up Twin Varsity Wins Over Marshall In North Central Missouri Conference Season Openers

The Mexico boys and girls varsity basketball teams each picked up victories over Marshall on the road on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs defeated the Marshall Lady Owls 62-40.

Mexico’s offense was led by senior Claire Hudson who recorded a season high 28 points including 6-3 pointers.

Grace Hudson got into double digits with 13 points on the night.

Freshman Scottie Smith finished with 9 points.

Kenley Jones had 4 points.

Haley Perkins, Hannah Loyd, Payton Shaw and Alyssa Miller had 2 points each respectively.

The Mexico girls improved to 3-3 overall and 1-0 in the North Central Missouri Conference.

The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team cruised to a 73-40 win over Marshall.

PJ Perkins had 16 points.

Jaydon Eldridge earned 13 points.

Charlie Fisher and Kaden Benne had 11 points each.

Holden Aulber and Hunter Bickell finished with 3 points each.

And Sam Ryan had 2 points.

The Mexico boys team are now 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the North Central Missouri Conference.
