Two MoTF1 Members Headed Home
Two members of Missouri Task Force One are headed home after being deployed to Hawaii. The Boone County Fire Protection District reports they have been demobilized. A third member of the task force, a structures specialist, will remain in Hawaii.
Texting and Driving Bill Filed At Missouri Senate
The Missouri Senate has a new bill before them that would ban texting and driving for drivers of all ages. The bill is being sponsored by Senator Wayne Wallingford, a Republican from Cape Girardeau. 47 states have already banned texting for drivers. The Missouri state law currently prohibits texting for all drivers under 21.
