With a large winter storm on the way, Kynlee was ready to make her appearance as 2025’s first “Boone Baby.”
At approximately 7:47 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 2, Kynlee arrived weighing in at a healthy 7lbs 9.9 ounces and 20.25 inches long.
“Our team was thrilled to welcome Kynlee to the world this week,” said Brandy Templeton, patient care supervisor in the Department of Maternal and Child Health.
“Having a baby is a special time any time of the year, but it’s always fun to welcome our first baby of a new year.
We wish Kynlee’s parents a wonderful new year and hope they get to enjoy lots of time cuddling their new addition.”
Kynlee was welcomed in Boone Hospital style, complete with a customized Boone Baby onesie and a welcome bag for her parents, Merisa and Matthew, and brothers, Quinten and Korben.
