A Kirksville man is in the Boone County Jail facing multiple charges for assaulting 45 children.
33-year-old Jacob Caughron is charged with two counts of second-degree statutory sodomy, first-degree trespassing, and violating a child protection order in Boone County.
According to court documents, on December 14th a woman in Columbia contacted the police to express her desire to keep Caughron off her property.
Court filings stated that investigators contacted Caughron and during an interview, he provided investigators with a list of 45 underage victims he assaulted and supplied with drugs and alcohol.
Caughron allegedly said that as an adult he is attracted to males between the ages of 12 and 16 years of age and wanted to do for them what he wanted at their age.
The court documents also stated that Caughron admitted to supplying alcohol, cigarettes, marijuana, acid and other drugs to an underage victim.
