Mexico Public Safety Arrests Teen Who Allegedly Broke Into A Mexico Residence

A Mexico teen is facing multiple charges including burglary after an arrest where he is accused of breaking into a home on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025.

According to a news release, Mexico Public Safety responded to the 600 block of MacFarlane just before 9am in reference to the residents waking up to find someone inside their house.

Mexico Public Safety says responding personnel found 18-year-old Jordan T. McCoy on scene and arrested him.

McCoy was taken to the Audrain County Jail on a 24-hour hold pending charges for 1st Degree Burglary, Second Degree Property Damage, and Minor in Possession of Intoxicating Liquor.

There were no injuries reported during the incident.
