Mexico High Academic Team Wins Sixth Consecutive Tournament

The Mexico High Academic Team took top honors at the March Academic Invitational in Nevada, Missouri on Saturday, Mar. 8, 2025.

Mexico ran the table and took down Lee’s Summit West in Round 10 to win another tournament title this season.

Mexico A went 9-0 on the day and they achieved 98 wins on the season.Camden Williams and Andrew Peuster were the top two scorers.

The A team consisted of Camden Williams, Andrew Peuster, and Lucy Gleeson.

Mexico B went 4-4 and finished 6th out of 20 teams while being the top B team in the tournament.

The B Team members consisted of AJ Leon, Jude Yancey, Aaron Iman, Elliott DeVargas and Trey Steelman.

Mexico A’s head coach Dale Schenewerk is just one win away from his 700th career victory.
