Mexico High School Baseball Experiences First Loss Of Season In Road Game Against Eldon

The Mexico High School baseball team suffered the first loss of their season 4-3 the Eldon Mustangs on the road on Friday, Mar, 27, 2025.

The game was tied at three in the bottom of the seventh when Eldon singled and scored a run to secure the walk-off victory.

Mexico out hit Eldon seven to six.

Mexico’s Cooper Bledsoe led the Bulldogs with two hits.

Landon Hilderman doubled and scored two runs.

Austin Maxwell got the start for Bulldogs and struck out six batters over five innings.

Jaydon Eldridge pitched one inning in relief and struck out two batters.

It will be a quick turnaround for Mexico as they take their 5-1 record to Ashland for a game against Southern Boone on Saturday, Mar. 29, 2025.
