Callaway Youth Expo Holds Ribbon Cutting
The Callaway Youth Expo held a ribbon-cutting to open its new facility in Auxvasse on Wednesday. The 6,000 square foot building is located at 600 E. Chestnut St. in Auxvasse, and boasts a full kitchen, bathrooms and a meeting and conference area.
It was was funded entirely by donations from the surrounding community, including proceeds from the annual Auxvasse Rodeo. The Youth Expo has been raising funds since moving to Auxvasse in 2013, but fundraising hit a new gear in 2022, and the community has now generated over $300,000 to cover construction costs.
