Mexico Woman Charged in Child Sex Case

An Audrain County woman was charged yesterday (Monday) in Audrain County Court with 10 felonies involving child sex crimes.

Kaila Nikkole Browning of Mexico, was charged with five counts of statutory sodomy with a person less than 12 years old and five counts of first-degree child molestation for alleged assaults that took place with a young girl in 2021.

Court documents said that the victim, a juvenile, identified multiple assaults happening on multiple occasions. Court records show that Browning admitted to performing sexual acts with the victim.
