Health Fair Held in Mexico

Three hundred and ninety-eight bags of school supplies given away Saturday at the annual Back to School Health Fair held the Mexico United Methodist Church.

The annual four-hour event is focused on getting kids prepared to go back to school. The Community Health Ministries Team, Audrain County Health Department, C2C and Mexico Public Safety collaborated to hand out free backpacks, shoes and school supplies, for kids Kindergarten through 12th grade.

This year also saw in-person health screenings.
