Safety increased for Westminster symposium
Westminster College in Fulton will host its 20th annual Hancock Symposium, starting tonight and running through Wednesday. The symposium’s theme “Justice for all?” has a focus on rebuilding trust in our political, educational and spiritual leaders.
With last week’s fatal shooting in Utah of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, the college has taken extra precautions to ensure the safety for those attending.
And the focus hasn’t stopped there, especially with former governor, state senator, and attorney general Jay Nixon set to speak Wednesday afternoon. The school has special safety measures being put into place for the event.
