An Audrain County man is facing multiple serious charges, including first-degree sodomy and first-degree domestic assault causing serious injury.
Court documents show charges were filed Monday against Gerald Walker Jr.
A woman told investigators Walker attacked her several years ago, including incidents in May 2021 near Vandalia and at a nearby graveyard.
She alleged Walker cut and choked her, causing chemical burns and threatening her life.
Walker already has prior convictions, including child molestation in 2022 and burglary in 2025.
He’s also facing additional charges in Cole County for tampering with a victim and property damage.
