In a battle of Bulldogs, the Mexico boys held on to beat Harrisburg last night at the Sportsplex in Mexico, 46-44.
HHS outscored Mexico 17-6 in the 4th as they almost scored a huge comeback.
Harrisburg falls to 2-5, while Mexico is now 7-2.
Mexico’s Charlie Fisher led all scorers with 13 points.
In the earlier game, the unbeaten Harrisburg girls claimed win number 7 on the season with a 66-56 victory over the Mexico ladies.
Harrisburg’s Lorealee hunziker led all scorers with 28.

The KC Chiefs are going to Kansas,
The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Monday that they will relocate from Arrowhead Stadium to a new domed stadium, a $3 billion project planned to rise just across the Kansas-Missouri line and ready for the 2031 season.
The new venue will seat at least 65,000 and be designed to host events like the Super Bowl and College Football Playoff, expanding the region’s economic prospects.
Construction on a companion $300 million training facility in Olathe is also planned, aiming to create more than 20,000 jobs and over $4 billion in economic impact.
For fans, the move signals a bittersweet goodbye to Arrowhead, a stadium steeped in history and famed for its tailgating culture, as Kansas City pivots toward a new era.

The Braggin Rights Showdown in St. Louis was all but that, as #18 Illinois dominated Mizzou from start to finish as the Tigers fell 91-48 Monday night.
It was the biggest loss in Braggin Rights history. Sebastian Mack led MU with 17 points.
In the NHL
The St. Louis Blues could have given the city, and Missouri sports fans, a nice Christmas present in the final game before the break, but they didn’t.
The Blues lost 4-1 to the Lightning Monday night in Tampa.
The loss dropped the Blues to 14-16-8 on the season and ended their three-game point streak.
