The Missouri football Tigers concluded their season Saturday night at the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville Fla, as they fell 13-7 to Virginia. Mizzou finished the year at 8-5 and now await the opening of the transfer portal on January 2nd.
Mizzou women’s basketball wrapped up their non-conference slate with a 71-67 overtime win over UM-Kansas City on Sunday afternoon at Mizzou Arena.
Sophomore guard Chloe Sotell led Mizzou with 23 points behind seven 3-pointers. Junior guards Abbey Schreacke and Grace Slaughter added 12 while Senior forward Jordana Reisma had 11 points.
MU women are now 12-3 as they start SEC play against #2 Texas at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Mizzou Arena.
The Blues welcomed back Jordan Kyrou and Jimmy Snuggerud to their lineup Saturday night, when they hosted the Predators in their first game back from the Christmas break. St. Louis beat Nashville, 3-2.
However, forward Pius Suter did not practice Sunday as they await MRI results today to know if he needs to go on Injured Reserve. The Blues already have three other players on IR, not counting Suter. They play Buffalo tonight.
