Two people are facing drug-related charges after a narcotics search in Jefferson City on Wednesday.
The Cole County Sheriff’s Office and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force executed a search warrant around 9 a.m. in the 500 block of Driftwood Drive.
Deputies say they found about five grams of meth, a loaded syringe containing another gram, and a digital scale.
A man and a woman were arrested at the scene and taken to the Cole County Jail.
Authorities say the man faces drug possession and probation violation charges, while the woman was arrested for possession and hindering prosecution.
Their names have not been released, and the investigation continues.
