Fulton drug bust nets two

Two people were taken into custody last week in Callaway County following a narcotics investigation by Callaway County Sheriff’s Office with help from the MUSTANG Drug Task Force.

56-year-old Damon Warfield, and 36-year-old Kimberly Brown, were picked up as they were loitering in the parking lot of the Fulton McDonald’s. They were notified that deputies were executing a search warrant at their residence and both cooperated with law enforcement.

Brown admitted to deputies to having methamphetamine stashed in her bra, and Warfield, who admitted to being a drug dealer, claimed joint ownership of the approximately seven grams of meth that was recovered.

With the warrant, a residence in the 700 block of Gary Street was searched where Deputies reported that more meth and other drug paraphernalia were discovered at the scene.

Warfield and Brown have pending charges for Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Prior Offender.

Warfield, who was on parole, is being held without bond. Brown’s bond was set at $20,000, cash or surety.
