Nunnelly sentencing this morning in Mexico

No word yet on the official sentence handed down this morning by Judge Richard Scheibe, but a sentence of 4-years in the Missouri Department of Corrections was recommended by the state this morning at the Audrain County Courthouse in Mexico, for Janae M. Nunnelly. She is the Mexico woman who pleaded guilty last year to a felony charge of sexual contact with a Mexico School District high school student

As part of a plea deal in October, she pled guilty to sexual contact with a student, a Class E felony under Missouri law, with a second count dismissed as part of the agreement.

Court records also show character reference letters and confidential correspondence were submitted to the courts on Nunnelly’s behalf earlier this month.
