
A Columbia man is facing multiple charges after police say he fired an AR-style rifle inside an apartment complex.
Investigators say 24-year-old Jah’Ree Marshoun Walker’s gun went off Monday night at his mother’s home on Gordon Street, leaving a bullet hole that traveled through several rooms.
Walker’s mother told officers she wanted him removed from the residence and shared images allegedly showing him holding the rifle during a FaceTime call.
Police later found the weapon hidden under a bed.
Walker, who also has a felony warrant from another state, is in the Boone County Jail without bond.
His first court hearing is set for 1pm This afternoon. (Thursday)
