A fire broke out Thursday night at the Greenlight Dispensary on Ponderosa Drive in Columbia.
Crews responded just before 9 p.m. after smoke and ash were seen rising from the back of the building near utility lines.
Firefighters from Boone County and paramedics were on scene, quickly working to contain the blaze.
Ponderosa Street was shut down as crews doused the area with water to prevent any gas-related hazards.
The dispensary, once known as 3Fifteen Primo, sustained visible damage.
No word yet on what caused the fire.
