A shooting last night in southwest Columbia has left one person in life-threatening condition. Columbia Police responded to a shots-fired call at the 1400 block of Ridgemont Court about 8:15 p.m.
Officers provided emergency care to the male victim, who was later transported to a local hospital.
No one is in custody, however authorities do not believe there is an active threat to the community.
