The three 18-year-old defendants charged in Sunday’s deadly shooting in southwest Columbia made their first court appearance this afternoon in Boone County court.
Alexis Baumann, of Hallsville; Kobe Aust and Joseph Crane, both of Columbia; have all been charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action and first-degree robbery in the shooting death of 42-year-old Michael Burke.
A juvenile is also facing the same charges along with felony theft.
Baumann, Aust and Crane appeared in front of Judge Kayla Jackson-Williams. Baumann’s attorney requested a home detention study in conjunction with their bond investigation
