The Southern Boone School District will ask voters in April to decide on a $4 milllion bond issue to fund improvements, renovations and repairs at the schools, according to the school district.
The tax levy would not change the district’s debt service.
If approved, the money would replace the HVAC system at the high school, replace the roofing at the high school and primary school, and replace portions of the parking lot at all four schools,
The measure was approved to be put on the ballot at last nights (Wednesday) Southern Boone Board of Education meeting.
