A Columbia teenager has pleaded guilty in connection with a 2024 shooting that injured two people on Clark Lane.
Seventeen-year-old Ja’Mez Thompson-Bey admitted to two reduced charges of first-degree assault.
Prosecutors dropped four other counts, including armed criminal action and robbery.
Court documents show both assault charges were downgraded to Class B felonies.
Thompson-Bey was sentenced to eight years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on each count.
