One-vehicle accident serious for Macon teen
A 17-year old juvenile from Macon is in serious condition after a Saturday afternoon one-vehicle accident in Macon County. The man was driving his 1999 Ford Ranger westbound on Route DD – two miles west of Ten Mile Road, when he traveled off the north edge of the roadway, overcorrected, then returned to the road before sliding off the north edge of the road and overturning.
The accident happened about 4:24pm
The victim was taken by Macon County Ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
