Moniteau County’s District 1 Commissioner Doug Naros has resigned amid a law enforcement investigation.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Bradley Germann reportedly said investigators are looking into an elected official, noting the request came from the Moniteau County sheriff.
The Patrol declined to comment further pending statements from the Moniteau County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation is ongoing.
