A status hearing is set for 8:30 this morning in Boone County for 31-year-old Dalton Perkins.
He’s charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and first-degree domestic assault in connection with a May 3 shooting that left a 56-year-old man dead.
Investigators say Perkins allegedly shot the victim during an argument at a home on North Highway NN in northern Boone County.
Court documents also allege he assaulted another person by grabbing their hair and throwing them off a porch.
