A Jefferson City man saw seven charges dropped after pleading guilty in a 2024 shooting case.
Adonius Miguel Boykin, 21, will be sentenced on one count of unlawful use of a weapon on April 14 at the Cole County Courthouse.
Prosecutors had originally charged him with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
Police say the incident on Ewing Drive in June 2024 left a victim with life-threatening injuries and caused bullets to strike a nearby home; the victim was hospitalized.
Boykin remains in the Cole County Jail.
