The Phelps County Sheriff’s Department says human remains were found in central Phelps County, according to a Facebook update posted yesterday at 5:45 p.m.
Also assisting in the investigation is the Rolla Rural Fire Protection District, Rolla Police Department, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, along with the county coroner, is investigating the discovery.
No additional details have been released, and authorities say they will provide updates as they become available.
