Stephens College is set to inaugurate its 25th president this weekend.
The ceremony for Dr. Shannon B. Lundeen will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday inside the Stephens College Equestrian Center’s indoor arena.
The event marks a major milestone for the nearly 200-year-old Columbia institution.
Mary Dana Hinton, president of Hollins University in Virginia, will deliver the keynote address.
Students, faculty, alumni, trustees, and higher education leaders from across the nation are expected to attend as the Stephens College community celebrates its new leader and looks toward the future.
