A Jefferson City man has been formally indicted on sex crimes involving a minor.
Greggery Marshall, 44, was charged by a Cole County grand jury with first-degree statutory rape and first-degree statutory sodomy.
The alleged offenses occurred between January 1 and February 1, 2024, in Cole County, and prosecutors say the victim was under 14.
The indictment follows an investigation that began after the victim disclosed the abuse to a therapist, with authorities saying the abuse began years ago and involved multiple encounters.
Marshall faces potential life-altering penalties if convicted and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
