Man Charged After Break-In at Mizzou Fraternity

A Columbia man is facing multiple charges after police say he broke into a University of Missouri fraternity house.

31-year-old Willem Campbell was arrested Friday after officers found him pacing on the roof of a Hertz car rental on Range Line Street.

Investigators say Campbell admitted he’d been sleeping there.

Police recovered stolen credit and debit cards from him.

Court documents allege Campbell broke into the Sigma Nu fraternity on March 15 and stole a wallet that helped track him down.

He’s charged with burglary, several counts of stealing, and trespassing. Campbell is being held in the Boone County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
