A Jefferson City duplex is a total loss after an overnight fire.
Fire crews were called out around 2 a.m. Wednesday to the 1400 block of St. Mary’s Boulevard, where flames were showing from the second floor when they arrived.
The Jefferson City Fire Department battled the blaze from both inside and outside the two-story home.
No word yet on what caused the fire investigators from the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s office are assisting.
Multiple agencies, including Cole County EMS and the Cole County Fire Protection District, helped at the scene.
