The St. Louis Cardinals opened up their 2026 season in dramatic fashion yesterday. After giving up six runs in the top of the sixth, the team clawed back for 8 runs of their own in the bottom of the sixth, for a 9-7 win over Tampa Bay.
The big blow was a two-run homer from Alec Burleson, who went 3-for-4 with a walk.

The St. Louis Blues defeated the San Jose Sharks 2-1 in overtime
Dylan Holloway secured the victory for the Blues by scoring the game-winning goal with only three seconds remaining in the overtime period.
Joel Hofer made 24 saves for the Blues.
This win marks the third straight victory for St. Louis, while San Jose has now dropped six games in a row.
