Two Columbia women are facing felony charges after police say they violently attacked another woman on Clark Lane Friday night.
Officers say 19-year-old Kennadie George and 18-year-old Trinity Carleton are each charged with first-degree assault.
When police arrived around 9 p.m., they found the victim bleeding and injured. Investigators say a witness video shows George repeatedly hitting and slamming the woman onto the pavement, while both suspects allegedly dragged her to a rock bed and struck her head against the rocks.
George and Carleton are jailed without bond and made their first court appearance Monday afternoon.
