A Fulton man has been arrested in connection to a sexual abuse of a minor in 2022.
Callaway County authorities received a call on Monday from a 12-year-old girl saying that James Courtney touched her in a sexual way four years ago, when she was 8.
Probable cause statements say that Courtney learned of the report and called the Sheriff’s Office, offering to turn himself in.
Courtney was arrested yesterday and is a registered sex offender due to prior misconduct charges.
He is charged with Statutory Sodomy and is being jailed without bond.
