A 56-year-old Columbia man was charged with a child sex crime on Wednesday in Boone County.
56-year-old Daniel Follett reportedly responded to a police decoy posing as a 16-year-old girl on an escort website and arrived at a predetermined location at 5 p.m. Tuesday with the intention of paying a minor for sex.
Follett was charged with child enticement. He is being held at the Boone County Jail without bond.
