Glasgow Clinic Opens

Boone Health is expanding access to rural healthcare with the opening of a new primary care clinic in Glasgow.

The new facility is three times larger than the previous clinic, adds a second provider and includes an on-site X-ray suite, eliminating the need for many patients to travel to Boonville or Columbia for imaging.

Healthcare leaders say the expansion is part of a broader effort to address healthcare access in rural Missouri, where more than half of rural hospitals are considered at risk of closing.

The new clinic was funded by the Boone Hospital Foundation.
