Columbia Drug Bust
Two Columbia residents are facing drug trafficking charges after Boone County deputies say they seized methamphetamine, fentanyl and ten thousand dollars in cash.
Deputies arrested Ralawndo Akers and Paige Ainsworth Wednesday during a traffic stop connected to an ongoing drug investigation.
According to court documents, a search of their residence uncovered 107 grams of methamphetamine, seven grams of fentanyl and drug packaging materials.
Both suspects are being held in the Boone County Jail without bond.
Akers and Ainsworth each face two counts of first-degree drug trafficking or attempt, with Ainsworth facing additional charges.
