Moberly Daycare Owner Sentenced
A former Moberly daycare owner has been sentenced to 14 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for abusing children in her care.
Naomi Hess was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty in August to four counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
The charges stem from a 2024 investigation at her daycare, Play N Learn, involving allegations of abuse against children between the ages of two and three.
Hess received seven years on each count, with sentences running both concurrently and consecutively, totaling 14 years.
She was ordered to report to prison within two days.
