Agriculture is the Backbone of Missouri

The Farm Bureau Agricultural Appreciation Breakfast took place this morning in the Community Room of the Audrain County Courthouse with approximately 35 people in attendance.

At the meeting, it was discussed how agriculture is the backbone of economy in Missouri.


88.4 billion dollars are brought in by agriculture in the state.

In Audrain County, 2600 jobs are created in the agriculture field, and agribusiness products create a revenue of over 750 million dollars annually.
